Do you want your school to be included?
We are now inviting expressions of interest from any schools that would like to join the next phase of the Car Free School Streets programme in September 2024.
This part-time closure of streets to traffic is not appropriate for all schools. A selection process is used to assess the suitability of any schools interested in participating in this scheme and to prioritise those to be included.
Before submitting your expression of interest, read:
- how schools are selected to check that your school would be a suitable location for the scheme
- memorandum of understanding
If your school meets the criteria, you can submit an expression of interest.

All schools in Â鶹ÊÓƵ are also able to join the scheme. This scheme offers support and rewards to schools for taking steps to promote safer, greener and healthier travel.
