At Â鶹ÊÓƵ’s Virtual School, we are dedicated to ensuring that all children receive the best education possible. Here are our key commitments:

    We strive to improve educational outcomes across a wide range of subjects. Our goal is to bridge any existing gaps in progress between children in our care and their peers. We believe in fostering high aspirations for every child.

    Children in our care deserve access to excellent education. We work closely with other professionals to provide a welcoming and supportive learning environment. Our commitment to educational stability includes strategies to ease transitions.

    We prioritize the health, emotional, mental, and social wellbeing of our children and young people. Their voices matter in decisions related to education and care.
  • Personalised Education Plans
    Each child has an up-to-date and ambitious Personal Education Plan (PEP) as part of their care plan.
  • Training and Support
    We offer training to educators, professionals, parents, and carers. This training focuses on positive relationships, understanding attachment, trauma, and separation. Our aim is to enhance student attainment, progress, engagement, and participation.
  • Effective Resource Allocation
    We provide clear advice and challenge to ensure that resources are used effectively. Our goal is to raise attainment and improve pupil wellbeing. We measure impact to ensure continuous improvement.

    We actively communicate and collaborate with others to ensure that the educational achievement of children in care, or those previously looked after by the authority, is seen as a shared priority by everyone.
