Accessing Overdrive/Libby
You need to with the library or have a valid Library membership. If you have outstanding books, fines or charges on your account this will restrict your access to the eLibrary until they have been cleared. If your card has expired or there is a query with your account, email enquiries@libraryofbirmingham.com.
We ask that you live in the West Midlands County i.e.Â鶹ÊÓƵ, Coventry, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Sandwell, Solihull and Walsall. Email enquiries@libraryofbirmingham.com with your library card number and we will set up your account for you.
Accessing via the App
- To download the app .
- If you experience any issues with your card number, email enquiries@libraryofbirmingham.com, including your card number.
- Technical issues are handled by Overdrive using the help option within the Libby App.
Accessing via the library catalogue
If you try to download an item directly from the catalogue and you do not have an account, or there is an issue with your card then you will be asked to create an account. If you do not have an email address as part of your library account, then you will get an error message. If you wish to download items from the Library catalogue you will need to add an email address to your library account.
