Â鶹ÊÓƵ

Â鶹ÊÓƵ School Health Support Service

The Â鶹ÊÓƵ School Health Support Service is accessible to all children who live in Â鶹ÊÓƵ and or attend a mainstream school in Â鶹ÊÓƵ (including those that are electively home educated).

This service works closely with school staff, children and their parents or carers.

The school nurses support children with health concerns which are impacting on their ability to participate fully in education.

School nurses can also work closely with families who require a higher level of support, including those who have allocated family support workers or social workers.

The service will work with you and other professionals to meet your child's health needs.

How do I contact a school nurse?

School Nurses can be contacted directly, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm (excluding bank holidays).

You can also speak to a duty school nurse who can offer advice, assessment or signpost you to relevant services.

The child development centres are supportive and inclusive and take into account other services available to children in the community.

The service offers an integrated and coordinated approach for children using a Team around the Family ethos.
